You’ve been following me on twitter for months. Perhaps you’ve even met me at a beer-related event or a local bar. Now you can continue to stay up-to-date on my suds-related exploits online in a more interactive fashion. Unlike other websites I manage, phillybeerguy.com is powered by Tumblr, a “microblogging” platform that facilitates easy posting of not only text, but photos, videos, links to other sites, and any number of different media types. This site will also allow you to ask me a question and interact with the items I post in a more conversational fashion than normal blog post comments.

My primary goal in getting this site up-and-running now is to document my upcoming Pennsylvania Beer Tour, a four-day trip by car with friends Steve and Jim across the Keystone State. We plan on visiting several well-known and many lesser-known breweries and brewpubs, all outside the immediate Philadelphia area, and with a little help from the mobile internet gods, we hope to present it all here for you to enjoy along with us.
